more unusual pieces of equipment is a custom built electromagnet which delivers a 2 Tesla field across a two

The machine shop has three milling machines, a lathe, bandsaw, grinder, etc,for making fixtures, prototypes
and modifying parts. There are also assembly capabilities including precision glueing and encapsulation

Mission Statement
WAT has dual missions: to deliver product design consulting services and to manufacture high
value-added products.
WAT is organized as an entrepreneurship. This choice provides project definition, market response and
paperwork preparation. Opportunities for collaboration are created within this structure by individuals
working cooperatively to achieve common goals.
WAT networks with contractors/consultants/employees who are motivated to apply scientific knowledge
to innovate new and better products.
Whether building products or channelling insights, efforts are acknowledged through individual
motivational packages for compensation and personal development.
WAT's 6000 square foot facility is
sited in tranquil Vermont amidst
ponds, fields and trees. But WAT's
employees are ultimately the
source of its capabilities.
